Week 11 - From Houston to Dallas
Well this has been one of the craziest weeks so far! Oddly enough coming home has been a little bumpy! Not it the worst ways but in the it is harder to find a place to stay when there are 10 people that can host you than it is when there is only one friend of a friend in the middle of nowhere between point a and b! I would like to say that I am so appreciative of all my hosts so far and all the hosts to come! You guys make this trip so much more than just a road trip! It is a million times better to sleep on the couch of a friend then to stay in a 5 star resort where I don't know anyone! By far the best moment that I had this week is when 3 year old Ella told me she has missed me because she hasn't seen me in a while and then say that she won't miss me when I go away this time because she knows I will come back! Ahhhhh! My heart! It like totally exploded! I will miss her even if she won't miss me! It has been so nice to be home and to see some folks and share a little about my journey so far face to face. In other news last week when I posted I was still finishing up my re-read of the Harry Potter books which I read for the first time in my life last year! It was actually really nice to read it and not be trying to figure out what was going to happen and just read for the stories sake. I got to read it with a new revelation. I understand so much more about my friends and classmates that grew up with Harry Potter! For those who might be wondering I am in Hufflepuff House which doesn't surprise me in the least! I am curious what Hogwarts House are you in? Have you read the Harry Potter books or even just watched the movies? What did you get out of the story? I am still learning new things from the books but I think I will probably need to read them at least once or twice more to really dive into the depths of what there is to fully learn from the story.
