Home Sweet Home
So I know on Day Three I mentioned the Home Sweet Home sign and said there was a story behind it but that had been a long day so I wanted to get some sleep so I would explain later. This is that explanation.
So I am going to start by saying this trip is something I felt very strongly is God inspired! I am a woman of strong Faith in God and trust Him completely with the decisions I make in my life! He has proven Himself faithful on every occasion I have trusted Him even the hard times and there have been a few! As I was packing up my car and running errands the week before I left He started singing to me “Home is where your heart is and when your heart is everywhere then you are always home!” It spoke to me on a deeply profound level because well I was getting ready to leave somewhere I have called home for the last 6 years! So as I started this journey I wanted to have something to take a picture of in all the places I visit so that I can mark my visit in sort of a Flat Stanley sees the world type of thing. So when I was looking at some small items that I have that I could use and then I was packing up my room and I took down the Home Sweet Home sign that I bought last year from Honey Hush a vendor of local hand painted signs in Cedar Hill. When I was looking at it after taking it off the wall of my room I remembered what the Lord was singing to me. It was such a great moment. I just knew that I was going to take a picture of it in all the places I will be staying during my travels! I am so excited to be seeing all the places I stay!
